Ironic

And life is ironic.

I don’t know why but I felt nostalgic a bit earlier and somehow the song "Ironic" of Alanis Morisette popped into my numb head. I had to sing its chorus for no reason - I was too young to remember the actual phrases of the verses.

Well, it is how I realized a few things.

I somehow acknowledge that nothing is predictable in this world. 

Yeah, "who would have thought… it figures"! 

Well, sometimes you really think that you have got everything figured out. Everything sits in front of you in one great, big, unsinkable plan, then your Iceberg crashes everthing down. You are left in the cold waters of regret shouting "Jack…where are you jack?". Well, where is jack anyway when you need him?

My point, I guess, is to keep yourself here. Here. Here dammit.

What you have is all you have. Never ask for anything else, coz you might just get the hell out of it. If you get it, it is all yours but dont expect it to be yours tomorrow.  

And life has a funny way of helping you out when
You think everything’s gone wrong and everything blows up

Smiley Galore

In the past few weeks, I have been so sulked in my misery that I cannot even have one good game of DotA with my friends. I always assume that I am lonely. I always assume that I always need to be with my barkada, then everything turns out that I cannot join their fun if they are complete. Ironically, when I am avail, they are not there. I even poured my heart out over two bottles of SanMigLight one night that I didn’t even realize that I don’t like its taste. Yeah, awful, but I managed to do it. I don’t know how.

Singing positive is much better for me than looking for a reason to be happy. Well, I thank Hale for these types of songs… It makes me think of "Selfless Love behind the Hurt". Look at the lyrics closely and you will notice  that the first and second parts are not really that happy but the chorus and the beat is very much up. Only Hale can do that.

Maybe, I’ll always be their fan.

Stratonomicanophonic Weekend

Depression is one hell of a big enemy. But I can take it for now.

What keeps me up all night during weekends? One can of Iced Coffee (sometimes beer *sanmig light to be exact*), sounds (currently Imago’s Blush), something that goes with the drink and surfing the net for something that I don’t really care about.  I just need to take my mind off some things…

There is just a lot of things suddenly happening and I can’t keep up.
